Hi! I’m Steve. I live in New York with my partner Dino, and consequently consider myself the luckiest man alive.

As a vegan, I do not believe animals are for us to use. All sentient creatures are ends in themselves, and not means to our own selfish ends.

Politically, I am a Marxist-Humanist, formerly a member of News & Letters Committees until they gave up on Marxism. I’m now a member of the U.S. Marxist-Humanists (not to be confused with the Marxist-Humanist Initiative).

Spiritually, I am a congregationalist Christian, a member of the United Church of Christ, and a Buddhist influenced by the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh. I attend Judson Memorial Church.

My favorite color is red. My biggest pet peeve is cynicism.
