You may recall this post about the telephone scam call I received. I just received another call from a Canadian number (506)221-5689. I connected by pressing one, here was the conversation.
Me: My number is (xxx) xxx-xxxx.
Caller: Why are you telling me that?
Me: Please add me to your do-not-call list.
Caller: This office doesn’t do that.
As I was telling her that that’s not legal, she hung up. My calls to the (506) number give me a recorded message saying the number is not assigned.
I was annoyed. Now I’m angry.
