The books and DVDs are gone, all for about $40.
We’re moving to Brooklyn in 3 days. We have a room, and enough money for the first month’s rent and deposit. We’ll be carrying everything we own in four suitcases.
Dino has an interview on Monday; I have one on Sunday. We will have no trouble finding our ideal jobs there.
Everything is changing. It’s about fucking time it did.

UPDATE: We’ve found a place. Thanks for all the support!
Friends,
Dino and I are moving to NYC the end of this month. We’re going to be needing crash space for a week or two, just so we can get on our feet, do interviews and get that ever-important first paycheck so we can get out of your hair.
In exchange, we would be willing to help out with cleaning, cooking and so forth. I’m sure most of you know Dino is a published cookbook author and an excellent cook. In any case, we won’t take up much space, we are traveling light, and we will not overstay our welcome.
If necessary we will work part time at a hostel in exchange for board, but we’re hoping it won’t come to that, as any time we spend working for a hostel is time lost in the job search. We will do whatever we must to make this work, and any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
We will be arriving on Saturday, October 27. While we should have a place to stay for that night, we will need someone to put us up the following week. If you, or anyone you know could help us in this, we would be eternally grateful.
